I don't say it nearly enough but thank you for all you'vedone for me in my life and everyth

Today you guys are going to get the 411 on three of my favorite highlighters.

In case you didn’t know, my preferences for highlighters are rose golds and rich golden colors which complement my skin tone. The amount of shine the highlight gives, that does not bother me too much because I love to switch up my glow once in a while.

Laura Mercia- Summer Bloc

Laura Mercier- Golden Mosiac

This is one of the highlighters I own that does not give me an intense, beaming, metallic glow that is very much in right now.

This highlighter is very subtle, very natural but does have the ability to be built up to a more noticeable glow. I use this one on my lighter days where I just have a little foundation and a gloss.

Usually, I don’t go for highlighters like this because I feel the all in one approach, with the different highlighter shades always fails. It is a waste of product in my opinion because there is always one or two colors that you would never use.

To kinda combat that, I use my brush and pick up all of the colors, with more of the focus on the deeper colors so that I get a really gorgeous shade that compliments my skin tone.

City Color

This highlighter is one that I get asked about the most, it is the most favored out of the three and it is on the wayyyyy less expensive end of makeup spectrum. This is available in two gorgeous colors.

This highlighter is a beautiful golden color or more of a rich bronze color depending on where you put your brush.

There are two colors for you to choose from, in the pan. The yellow golden color which covers the palm trees and the bronze color that surrounds the palm trees in the pan. The golden yellow color, it’s a very very thin layer so don’t expect it to last very wrong after passing your brush once or twice.

On the higher end of the spectrum, we have the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade Blushed Copper. This was released in limited edition packaging some time ago about 2 or 3 years ago.

It was released as a highlighter 2 or 3 years ago but like a year later, it was released as a shimmery blush in the normal BECCA packaging.

I don’t know if the blush and the highlighter are the same formulae, consistency but it sounds that way when I saw reviews on it around that time.

    1. Highlighters are mainly used to give your skin a fresh, healthy and glowy look. I have a Pinterest link showing how to do it:

In the board as well, in addition to my Makeup Board, there are many options from high end to low end if you want to give them a try.
      Thanks for reading Trish.
