Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Review

I remember when this foundation was released it got a ton of hype. A lot of the hype Matte and Porelessstemmed from the fact that YouTubers, Bloggers and others in the community were calling it a dupe for higher end foundations like Mac Studio Fix fluid, Estee Lauder Double Wear and Makeup Forever HD which we already know to be absolutely amazing foundations.  The comparisons were dead on. This foundation is amazing.

Type: Liquid foundation

Finish: Matte

Coverage: Medium to Full, Buildable

Shades: There are 24 shades available. When the line was initially released, the shade range stopped at 355 Coconut. Coconut is on the deeper end of medium shades. Shade selection was disappointing to say the least but Maybelline took note of the complaints and made more deep and in between shades.

Price: $5-$8US /$40-75TT depending on where you buy it. I believe that this is a very decent price.

On the Maybelline site, it was stated that it is for oily skin and I agree. I have very oily skin and this foundation, set with powder, kept me matte for about 3-4 hours before I had to blot. The claim about it being poreless, that was a bit of a stretch. It reduced the appearance of my pores but you could still see my pores as with any other foundation. Once you set it with a powder, the transfer is minimal.

Overall, I was absolutely impressed.

All of my opinions are my own. I would never promote or speak highly of a product I dislike just for sales. That goes ag In addition, I purchase all of the products I review with my own money.
